London, England — Charlton Athletic FC has announced the signing of Kaheim Dixon as their new player. The London club unveiled the Jamaican attacker after he signed a contract that will be valid until 2028.
Dixon, 19, was bought for an undisclosed fee, after spending the last season in Mount Pleasant FC. He was identified by Charlton Athletic scouts because the English club has a strong relationship with Mount Pleasant. He enjoyed a good breakout season in which he scored 4 goals in the Jamaican premier league. He will be hoping to make a big impact in his debut season in the League One outfit.
According to the Charlton website, they are happy with their partnership with Mount Pleasant because it allows them to discover talented Jamaican youngsters. The move was facilitated by the fact that Dixon has played numerous times for his national team.
The talented winger is expected to wear jersey number 13.

These performances earned him a spot in the Jamaican national team. In June, he scored two goals in the Copa America tournament. He has already accumulated 7 caps for the Reggae Boyz.
He will be playing for the English team together with another Jamaican –Karoy Anderson.
