He was ready to return in the last international break but he was held back by persistent injuries
Stephen McClaren has included Leon Bailey in the Reggae Boyz squad that will represent Jamaica in upcoming games. The squad is made up of 24 players. They will play against U.S.A in the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League.
It has been a long time since Bailey played for the senior national team. They will take on U.S.A on two different occasions. The first leg will be on November 14 while the second one will be on November 18.
Newcastle midfielder Isaac Hayden was recently recruited into the Jamaican national team. This will be the first time that he will play for the Reggae Boyz.
Forwards: Romario Williams, Michail Antonio, Leon Bailey, Kaheim Dixon, Renaldo Cephas, Demarai Gray, Shamar Nicholson

McLaren was appointed as the coach of the Reggae Boyz in August. This is the third time that he has named a senior squad.
It’s interesting to note that Isaac Hayden has been included in the squad for the first time. The Newcastle midfielder was recently recruited by the Jamaica Football Federation.
McClaren is hoping that this revised squad will bring fresh vigor and experience.
Jamaican fans will be excited by the idea of Bailey returning to the squad. He was ready to return in the last international break but he was held back by persistent injuries. He played for 65 minutes in Aston Villa’s last premiere league game.
McClaren told journalists that Bailey is fit and raring to go. He will be hoping that his team can clinch their first home win since June.
