Aqua Bay Resorts has confirmed that it will continue sponsoring the Jamaica Open tournament under the Vybwear brand. The company has promised that the national golf teams will be provided with a new uniform deal.
Jodi Munn Barrow; the president of the Jamaica Golf Association, said that he is happy that Aqua Bay resorts is investing more money in the sport. This news comes after the company sponsored the 57th Jamaica Open.
The new Vybwear golf apparel was unveiled by Scott Summy of Aqua Bay. The participants received samples of the apparel after completing the registration process. Munn Barrow revealed that they will introduce new design options in 2025.
“This partnership will bring a lot of growth in the golf community. We appreciate the help that we have received from the Jamaica Golf Association,” Munn Barrow told journalists.
Summy revealed that they are hoping to turn Vybwear into a national and international brand. They believe that the Jamaica Open tournament can turn Vybwear into a household brand.
He also promised that they will provide resources to the Jamaica national golf teams.
“We’ve sponsored the Jamaica Open golf tournament in the last five years and we love how it’s been going. It’s important that tournament brings people from all parts of the world.”
