Thompson-Herah Receiving Achilles Treatment In Florida

She was forced to pull out of the 2024 Olympic games because of this injury

Elaine Thompson-Herah is currently receiving medical attention from doctors who are based in Jacksonville, Florida. This is according to three-time Olympic medalist, Dr. Gregory Haughton.

He recently confirmed that this doesn’t mean that she will join the Tumbleweed Track Club. This information was reported through his YouTube channel Let’s Talk-With Dr. Greg.
She suffered from an achilles injury that slowed down her 2024 season. She was forced to pull out of the 2024 Olympic games because of this injury. This was unfortunate because she was the defending champion in the 100m and 200m races. She won the races in the 2021 Tokyo Games and the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The 100m was won by St. Lucia’s Julien Alfred while the second position went to Shaccari Richardson of the United States.
The 31-year-old Thompson-Herah was last seen in the New York City Grand Prix.
“I released this information after confirming it through several phone calls,” Haughton said in the statement.

“Two of the sources told me that the information was 90% accurate. This was after I asked them to confirm the the authenticity of this information. In fact, I can confirm that I received a phone call from one of Elaine’s aides. The call came 24 hours after I released the video,” he added.
I appreciate the fact that Thompson-Herah’s team didn’t question my intentions when I asked about personal information. Haughton insisted that Elaine’s team clarified that stated that she isn’t having an official new camp.
I would like to set the record straight. Elaine hasn’t found a new home although her associates have links with the Florida-based camp,” said Haughton.
