The star goal shooter has received an out-pour of love from supporters of Jamaica’s national netball team –Sunshine Girls

KINGSTON, Jamaica— Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard; the Sunshine Girls team captain, is mourning after losing her unborn child. She is mourning this loss together with her family, teammates and friends.

This was released through a social media post that was written by Netball Jamaica.

“Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard recently suffered from a pregnancy loss. We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to her and family. She is the SSG team captain and that’s why are sending our love and support,” Netball Jamaica said. “We ask all our supporters to include her in their prayers. This is an unimaginable loss. May our outpouring love help her find peace of mind.”

The star goal shooter has received an outpour of love from supporters of Jamaica’s national netball team –Sunshine Girls. She has also received positive messages from well-wishers. Most of these messages have come through social media platforms.

Fowler-Nembhard has not been involved in the 2025 Super Netball season. She announced that she was expecting a child in December 2024. She and her husband will be hoping to put this nightmare behind them.

She already has another child. This would have been her family’s second child.
