He Hopes to Help the Less Fortunate in Jamaica
Leon Bailey has been announced as the latest brand ambassador for Flow. The telecommunications giant announced their partnership with the Aston Villa winger during a press conference that was held at the AC Hotel in Kingston.
Sara Martins De Oliveira, Flow’s senior marketing director, said that they chose Bailey because his personality matches with the company’s expectations.
He said that Bailey has principles that align with what Flow brand and Flow company stand for. Over the years, the Reggae Boy has been building a big brand in and off the field.
This announcement comes just days after Olympic Champion Elaine Thompson-Herah re-signed her contract as an ambassador of the company.
Leon Bailey revealed that this partnership will go a long way in inspiring and providing support to the youth. Bailey said that he is excited to work with Flow and he hopes that they can achieve big things together with the Leon Bailey Foundation.
He emphasized that he always tries to use his corporate partnerships to help different communities.
Bailey has had to overcome his own struggles and feels that he has a responsibility to ensure that other young persons have the resources that he didn’t to improve their lives.
Bailey came from a poor background and he was helped by coaches who believed in him. Eventually, his talent paid off after he signed a contract to play in Europe.
It’s clear that Bailey hasn’t forgotten where he came from. He is a man with a big heart and it is that attitude which convinced Flow Senior Marketing Director Sara Martins de Oliveira to have Bailey join the Flow team.
