Jamaica will be hoping to secure their 38th successive title
The organizers of the Carifta Games are hosting 700 athletes in the ongoing event. This is the 51st edition of the track and field event. The competitors are expected to come from 27 countries.
The track and field tournament is happening in the Kirani James Athletic Stadium. These grounds are located in St George’s, Grenada. The prestigious event will include under-20 and under-17 categories.
Jamaica has an impressive track record in this this regional meet and their athletes will be coming as the defending champions. The island nation will be hoping to secure their 38th successive title.
