Brand New KO Football Contest Scheduled for November

This tournament will take place during the JPL’s break which will be during the kick off of the men’s FIFA World Cup between November 21st and December 18th

In the recent past, Lynk signed a three-year contract with the Professional Football Jamaica Limited (PFJL) to bring in a digital requital option for football games in Jamaica as part of their readiness to embark on new bold ventures. Lynk will also be bestowing a new Gold Cup sporting competition which Lynk’s trademark and financial support manager and Kemoi Burke labelled as Jamaican Football’s FA Cup.
The Gold Cup will be sort of a knockout tournament whereby Friday nights will include double headers to make the football event more entertaining. This will have 10 Jamaica Football Association (JFA) teams as well as 14 Jamaica Premier League (JPL) teams which will all compete for the Lynk Gold Cup. This tournament will take place during the JPL’s break which will be during the kick off of the men’s FIFA World Cup between November 21st and December 18th.
Both teams and the players will get cash honors for the experiences and scores executed during the tournament.
Burke stated that the local football scene needed this type of agitation since COVID-19 had interfered with the sport’s enthusiasm. Burke further stated that this is why they needed to partner with Romeich Entertainment to ensure that football fans start enjoying the sport once again.
