Caymanas Gardens Football Club U-20 Receives New Footballs and Gears

These Gifts were Sourced from Various Individuals and Companies for Football

The players of Caymanas FC recently received new football-related apparel like training gear and balls. They were gifted with the kits just before participating in a recent game that happened during the St Catherine Under-20 League. These gifts were sourced from various individuals and companies.

According to Dwight Fowler, one of the team coaches, Anthony Jackson, who is part of the fundraising team, asked for help from his business colleagues. Fowler continued to state that the fundraising took place, and donations from friends were made.

The funds were used to buy the footballs and gears. The fundraising happened after community members came together for a jerk fiesta. They pledged to offer support to the local team.

Anthony Jackson played a major role in the fundraising. He convinced other community members that the team needed support. He reached out to people from the corporate world so that they could donate items that would be helpful to the team’s daily operations.

Teamas from the St Catherine U-20 Football League recently began competing against each other at Prison Oval in Spanish Town.

The first game saw Cumberland lose to Caymanas with a score line of 4-1. Another match ended with a win for Caymanas who won against Beacon Hill in a game that was held in Spanish Town.
