Tevin Foster, Javaniel Patterson and Reyan Lewis also signed ambassadorial contracts with the Tru-Shake brand
Dane Dawkins; the reigning champion jockey, was recently signed an endorsement deal with GraceKennedy’s 876 Spring Water. He will now act as the brand ambassador of the company for one year. He expressed delight that he was chosen to represent the company.
The water company chose Dawkins because he has established himself as a formidable rider at Caymanas Park. He has been of the best jockeys since 2018. He said that he is excited about working with the company. He hopes to use this opportunity to elevate my career as well as funding several business pursuits. He told journalists that this deal is ideal for his career and it has come at the right time.
Dawkins emphasized that this deal will challenge him as well as other jockeys to improve in their craft. He believes that he will win more races as he pursues a contract extension or even a new contract with another company. He also hopes that his success can inspire kids to pursue a career in the sport. The sport has grown tremendously and it’s no surprise that sponsors are stepping in to fund the athletes.
It will be interesting to see which other companies will step up like 876 Spring Water. Experts predict that more companies will invest in the sport. This increased investment will undoubtedly improve the standard of the sport because the athletes will work harder in the saddle.
Dawkins has 82 wins this year and therefore ranked second in the jockeys’ standings. Reyan Lewis is 13 wins ahead of Dawkins having secured 95 wins. Dawkins is working hard to retain his title despite the gap. Dawkins is renown for his ‘never give up’ attitude towards the sport. He promised his fans that he will fight until the end unless it becomes unattainable.
Dawkins’ one-year partnership with 876 Spring Water comes after Tevin Foster, Javaniel Patterson and Reyan Lewis signed ambassadorial contracts with the Tru-Shake brand.
