Colin Anderson Set To Sign For Iraqi First Division Team

Colin Anderson; a Jamaican international, is expected to leave set to leave Cavalier Soccer Club by the end of the current transfer window. He is expected to join Erbil SC; an Iraqi First Division team.
In 2023, the Jamaican attacker had a stint with a North Macedonian First Division team known as Bregalnica Stip. He was on loan from Cavalier during this period.
Anderson’s team faced relegation despite his efforts. He ended his season with only three goals in 28 appearances.
Anderson will always be remembered for scoring 29 goals in a total of 66 appearances for Cavalier. These goals came in the 2022 season of the Jamaica Premier League.
Erbil SC finished with nines wins, 14 draws and 15 losses in the 20-team Iraqi league. The team finished the season in the 14th position. The Iraqi club is hoping to boost its attack by hiring Anderson.
The ex Arnett Gardens FC player will join Senegalese midfielder Khalifa Sow, Colombian forward Luis Hinestrova, Mali defender Adama Ballo and Brazilian defender Helio. These footballers are already part of the Iraqi club’s roster.
Anderson will be hoping to deliver impressive performances so that he can force his way back into the Reggae Boyz team. He has already acquired two caps for the Jamaican national team.
