Cricket West Indies has released statement that contains a schedule for the white-ball tour with the Bangladesh Women’s team. This tournament is expected to be held in St Kitts. It will run between January 14 to February 1, 2025.

The series will be made up of three Twenty20 Internationals (T20I) and three One-Day Internationals (ODI). Both contests will be held at Warner Park in Basseterre.
St Kitts will receive the Bangladesh Women’s team on January 14. The main event will begin on January 19. The athletes are expected to continue with the ODI series on January 21 and January 24. On January 27, 29, and 31, the action will shift to T20I fixtures; the shorter format of the competition.

Lynford Inverary; the acting CEO of CWI, welcomed the opportunity to host the event. He reiterated the importance of Warner Park in hosting cricket events.
“The Bangladesh Women’s team should feel welcomed in Warner Park. This venue is iconic and it is synonymous with West Indies cricket. We encourage fans from St Kitts and other countries in the region to attend in large numbers. This event will provide a platform to develop high-quality cricket,” said Inverary.

Miles Bascombe; the CWI Director of Cricket, reiterated the importance of the series in relation to the upcoming 2025 ICC 50-over Women’s Championship.
“This series against Bangladesh will play a huge role in how we perform in the 2025 ICC 50-over Women’s Championship. We hope to perform well in the ODI series so that we can qualify for the World Cup. Our players will get valuable experience through the T20I matches+.”
