Gray also has interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas and Crystal Palace
Reggae Boy Demarai Gray has been linked with a possible move to premier league side Fulham FC. The Everton winger is currently in talks with Fulham.
The 27-year-old winger joined Everton in 2021 after spending one season in Bayer Leverkusen. It is believed that Everton spent only £1.7m for the forward. He currently has 12 goals from his 75 appearances for the Toffees. Gray is a former Leicester City player and was part of the team that won the unlikely league title in 2016.
Gray also has interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas and Crystal Palace. According to sources, Gray prefers a move to Fulham so that he can continue playing in the English premier league.
Fulham requires a new winger after losing Manor Solomon to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Jamaican is coming from an impressive Gold Cup campaign for his country. He was named as part of the team of the tournament.
Sources have revealed that Gray has agreed personal terms with Fulham. However, there is no official agreement between Fulham and Everton. It is believed that talks are ongoing and breakthrough is close.
Gray is expected to leave Goodison Park for a big profit although he was bought for a very small fee.
Fulham has already signed defender Calvin Bassey from Ajax and striker Raul Jimenez from Wolves.
Gray’s contract with Everton will expire in less than 12 months and there have been no talks of a renewal. However, the Toffees reserve the right to extend his contract until June 2025.
Everton boss Sean Dyche is hoping to raise funds by selling some of his key assets. This is because he hasn’t received enough money from the owners of the club.
