Dixon Promises To Work Harder After Being Called Up By The Reggae Boyz

Dixon is coming off an exceptional season for Claredon. He scored a season-high 38 goals in the latest schoolboy football season

Kaheim Dixon has been called up by the Jamaican national team as a replacement for Cavalier attacker Shaniel Thomas. Dixon; who is Clarendon College’s top goal scorer, said that he is excited to earn his Reggae Boyz debut.
The 19-year-old Dixon is humbled to be included into a camp that is made up of local players.
Dixon is coming off an exceptional season for Claredon. He scored a season-high 38 goals in the latest schoolboy football season. His brilliant performances helped his team win the Olivier Shield and the rural area daCosta Cup. The Olivier Shield title confirmed Claredon’s supremacy in Jamaican schoolboy football.
The teenager also boasts of being the top scorer of the CASA Youth Classic tournament. He captured the Golden Boot trophy after netting six goals in four matches. This competition happened in Florida.
The forward promised to work even harder in the upcoming games. He said that he is hoping to continue with high-level performances although he is aware that he will be playing at a higher level. He is hoping to impress the Reggae Boyz head coach so that he can become a regular member of the team.
Dixon has received many offers to play for local professional teams. However, he revealed that he is hoping to sign for an overseas team. He said that he is happy to be training with experienced Jamaican internationals. He revealed that he is learning as much as he can from the experienced players. He revealed that his first training session was about working on the of the ball movement.
He added that he was glad to capture the Golden Boot award although the All Schools team couldn’t win the CASA Youth Classic trophy.
