The committee will decide on the athletes to represent Jamaica at the upcoming Pan American Youth Championship in December
From November 25th to 29th, the annual International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) technical committee meetings will be hosted by the Jamaica Amateur Gymnastics Association (JAGA) at the Oceans Coral Springs Hotel in Falmouth.
JAGA’s president Nicole Grant-Brown stated that it was such a privilege for Jamaica to host this great event. Members of the committee will arrive two days prior to the meeting to decide on the Jamaicans who will make it to the upcoming Pan American Youth Championship in December.
The decisions made by the technical committee of the FIG are based on increasing or decreasing the value of skills, types of skills utilized and the code of code of points.
JAGA has partnered with the Ministry of Tourism, Elite Diagnostic and the Jamaica Tourist Board to host the meetings.
The meetings will be held daily from 9 a.m to 5 p.m during the period. The Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) and the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) will have their meetings in different conference rooms at the same time.
