Fleetwood Town Signs Jamaican International Brandon Cover

He is completing the move from Leicester City

Fleetwood Town have completed the signing of Brandon Cover. The Jamaican international is expected to play for the League One team for the rest of the season. He is completing the move from Leicester City.

Cover, who is a graduate of Leicester’s Academy, has been on loan at Port Vale. He has a record of two goals in 21 appearances. He began his professional career at the age of seven.

The 21-year-old has always been a Leicester City player. However, the club has only given him one senior appearance despite playing their junior teams. He played for Jamaica when they lost in a 2-1 friendly game against Jordan. The two teams were playing at Stadion Wiener Neustadt in a game that happened on June 19, 2023.

The England-born midfielder is eligible to play for Jamaica because his father has Jamaican roots. He has represented the Jamaican Under-23 side in the past. In 2023, he participated in the Central American and Caribbean Games.
