The 2021/22 Jamaica Premier League champions are looking to defend their title
The 2021/22 Jamaica Premier League champions Harbour View Football Club, while seeking to defend their title, have signed four players a few days before the new season begins in October 23rd. The four players include; goalkeepers Romario Palma and David Martin, and midfielders Trayvon Reid and Demar Rose.
Harbour View’s general manager, Clyde Jureidini felt that the matter of signing two goalkeepers during the transfer window was of absolute necessity.
Attacking midfielder, Rose, is leaving Portmore United for Harbour View. The 25-year-old initially played for Harbour View. The coaching team and Jureidini came to a consesus that the midfield area needed to be strengthened.
Reid, who was playing on loan from Tivoli Gardens, was also signed permanently by Harbour View FC. The midfielder who is 22 years old played quite impressively last season and Jureidini considers him a promising talent.
Palma was previously a representative of the Central Kingston Major League. On the other hand, goalkeeper Martin won the Manning Cup last year while representing the colors of Kingston College.
