Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has said that she is excited about the prospect of representing Jamaica in the Olympic games. The Jamaican superstar will be hoping to continue with her dominance, having won three Olympic titles in the past.

The 37-year-old is one of the most decorated sprinters ever. She boasts of eight medals in different Olympic disciplines like 4x100m relays, 200m and 100m races. The iconic sprinter will be hoping to go out with a bang. She will be pushing herself to win even more medals.
All of Jamaica’s hope will be on Fraser-Pryce, Tia Clayton and Shericka Jackson because Elaine Thompson-Herrah will miss the tournament. Thompson-Herrah will not defend her 200m and 100m titles because she is nursing an Achilles injury.
The women’s 100m race is normally one of the most popular events in the Olympics. The event will begin on 26th July 2024, it will run until 11th Aug 2024.
