The ex-England captain is expected to fill-in for the unavailable Pakistan batsman Saim Ayub
Moeen Ali has been recruited by the Guyana Amazon Warriors. The England international has been recruited as a replacement player. He will be used in the current season of the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League.
The ex-England captain is expected to fill-in for the unavailable Pakistan batsman Saim Ayub. The Warriors will be hoping that Ali can help them defend their championship.
Ayub’s availability will be dependent on whether the Guyana Amazon Warriors will advance in T20 Blast in the UK. The batting all-rounder has been one of their most important players.
Currently, Moeen has been replaced by New Zealand’s Tim Robinson. However, this arrangement is only for a temporary period. Robinson, 22, will remain in the squad even after Moeen arrives. He will continue as a temporary substitute for Rahmaullah Gurbaz.
Gurbaz is expected to travel for international games immediately after the team faces Barbados. Robinson will take the place of the Afghanistan powerhouse until he makes a comeback in the Guyana leg of the contest.
