Jamaican-Born Raheem Sterling Gets Baptized

Most of the people congratulated the Englishman ‘steering his life in the right direction.’

A video of Raheem Sterling getting baptized has emerged on social media
The Jamaican-born footballer is dressed in all white and is seen getting into a pool of water. He is surrounded by a group of people who are singing gospel songs.
The two church members proceeded to dip Sterling in the water while guiding him with their hands. The congregation was heard singing ‘Goodbye World’ as he emerged from the pool. Sterling recently completed a move from Chelsea to Arsenal. He will play for his new team on a season-long loan. Arsenal will then get a chance to decide whether they want to keep him on a long-term basis.
The footage generated numerous comments on Instagram. Most of the people congratulated the Englishman ‘steering his life in the right direction.’ On the other hand, others felt that he was getting baptized in order to escape his recent career woes.
The 29-year-old was pushed out of the Chelsea squad by Enzo Maresca; ‘the Blues’ new head coach. Maresca claimed that Sterling doesn’t possess the qualities that he is looking for in a winger. However, he insisted that he can be useful in another top team.
Sterling signed for Chelsea just two years ago after ‘the Blues’ paid a fee of £50 million to Manchester City.
“Considering all factors, I’m happy to have completed this move. I feel that Arsenal is a perfect fit for the attributes that I have,” said Sterling after arriving at Arsenal.
