The talented Jamaican driver got a second place finish in the previous season

Fraser McConnell, Jamaica’s motorsports star, is preparing for another season in Nitrocross. This will be his third season in the competition. The first and second rounds will be hosted in Richmond Raceway, this is a new venue that is in Virginia. The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
McConnell began the 2023-24 season with a bang and he even won the first round in an impressive manner. He also won round five and round nine in Phoenix and Las Vegas respectively. In round six, he managed to get a second place finish that secured his place in the podium. He ended the event with a runners up position, he was only one spot behind Robin Larsson. Larsson has shown big improvements ever since he finished third in the previous season.
The stakes are bound to get higher as McConnell prepares for his third season. Just like Larsson, he is determined to show improvements. He is hoping to finish in the leading position. Currently, McConnell boasts of being Jamaica’s best Motorsport Athlete.
“I’m happy with what my team achieved in the last season. I’m motivated to deliver improved performances in the current year,” said McConnell. “I have received a lot of support from local and international motorsport fans that’s why I want to give them something to celebrate. I know I’m capable of the spectacular.”
The talented Jamaican said that he is excited by the challenge of competing in a new venue. He believes that new raceways normally level the playing field because all drivers are forced to adapt to a new environment.
Nitrocross drivers will finish 10 rounds from September 7 to March 2. There will be over six venues with stops in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Richmond, Miami and , Salt Lake City. Enthusiasts should expect high-octane, adrenaline-pumping contests.
