Both Coaches are Hoping to Lead Their Teams to Victory
Mount Pleasant have not been successful in thrashing Cavalier in the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) this season. The teams have met twice this season. However, Cavalier’s coach, Rudolf Speid believes that things will go down differently while playing against Mount Pleasant in the knockout stages of the competition.
Speid explained that his team has been weakened by the fact that three key players who are currently involved in the Concacaf Under-20 championship and defender Richard King, who is healing after getting injured will not be playing.
Be that as it may, the team is still prepared to emerge victorious. Cavalier clobbered Mount Pleasant 3-1 when they last met. Mount Pleasant’s coach Nick Eaden said that this outcome was unusual and that they are ready set things right.
Mount Pleasant’s first game against Cavalier at Sabina Park ended in 0-0. Eaden further stated that his team is banking on the experience of players who have won the league before.
On the other hand, Arnett Gardens met Harbour View in the first quarterfinal.
