Jamaica Will Start Campaign Against Suriname on 4th June
The provisional squad for the Concacaf Nations League campaign which was released today saw Spartak Moscow’s striker Shamar Nicholson get his first international call up since last November.
When Jamaica finished their World Cup qualifying campaign from January to March, Nicholson was not called upon to participate.
The seven players who were summoned for the 26th May Catalonia friendly are Oquassa Chong, Junior Flemmings, Rolando Aaron, Kenroy Campbell and Kaheem Parris. Jamal Lowe of Bournemouth was also summoned to the team.
His last appearance was on October 10th when they had a 0-0 draw with Canada.
The 20 players that have been chosen include; Damion Lowe, Andre Blake, Javain Brown, Richard King, Ravel Morrison, Devon Williams, Leon Bailey, Tyree Magee,
Shamar Nicholson, Rolando Aarons, Jamoi Topey, Amarii Bell, Junior Flemmings, Kaheem Paris, Amal Knight,
Jamal Lowe, Daniel Green, Atapharoy Bygrave, Kenroy Campbell and Oquassa Chong.
The JFF disclosed that three more names will be added to the list. The Nations League campaign against Suriname by Jamaica will be opened on June 4th.
The Reggae Boyz will also have a match against Suriname on 7th June. The Boyz will later face off against Uruguay and Mexico in the Nations League.
