Tobi Amusan; women’s sprint hurdles world record holder, has been in Jamaica since September. It’s possible that that this training camp has been ongoing for the entire 2025 season.
The Nigerian athlete built a reputation for himself in 2022 when he secured the world title in Eugene, Oregon. The 27 year old was competing in the semi-finals when she ran in a time of 12.12 seconds to break the world record.
She is currently working with Glen Mills; the president and coach of the Racers Track Club.
Amusan has previously worked under coach Lascena Golding-Clarke.
She also secured a gold medal while participating in the Commonwealth Games during the 2018 and 2022 editions.
