The designer showcased the Jamaican culture by using a bespoke pattern on the kits
The Reggae Boyz squad is set to face off against the Dominican Republic later on today. The team will be wearing the recently launched Adidas 2024/25 jerseys. The game is expected to happen to start at 3:30 p.m. it will be hosted in the National Stadium.
This is an important game for the Jamaicans. A win will improve their chances of qualifying World Cup.
Adidas announced this new jersey together with the Jamaica Football Federation. These new jerseys will be worn by both the Reggae Girlz and Reggae Boyz. These jerseys will be used during the 2024 Copa America and the World Cup qualifying campaign.
The Boyz are expected to be the first national team to rock these new jerseys.
The newly-released kits are the second set of national kits provided by Adidas since the JFF’s agreement with the company in January 2023.
The new jerseys will replace the Adidas kits that were launched in 2023 and were worn during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup. These initial jerseys were designed by Wales Bonner.
The newly launched kits will include home and away jerseys. The new kits also come in the form of training gear, pre-match jerseys as well as anthem jackets.
