Reggae Boyz U17 Squad Secure First Victory In Mexico

The Reggae Boyz will compete against Seleccion Norte in their next fixture. this game will happen on Tuesday, 10:30am Jamaica time

Jamaica’s Under-17 team defeated Seleccion Bajio in a game that ended with a 3-2 score-line. They secured this win thanks to two goals from Seymour Reid. The two teams were competing in the Torneo del Sol in Mexico.


Cadriano Marsh and Reid were the two goal scorers for the Reggae Boyz. Reid has built a reputation as one of the best players in the New York City FC Academy. The Reggae Boyz are using this tournament to practice for upcoming competitions. They are building up towards the Concacaf U17 World Cup qualifiers. This competition is expected to begin in February.

On Monday, Liga Primier won by 3-0 in their match against Selection Norte. On the other hand, Guatemala secured a 3-2 victory over Oriente. Panama went home with a drew 1-1 when they faced off against Sureste.


The other results include a 5-0 victory for Mexico in their match against Centro. Monacra secured a 3-1 victory in their clash against Guadalajara. Occidente were 1-0 victors over Sector Amateur. Metropolitano edged a 2-0 win over Liga Top.
