The Forward Wants to Help Bristol City Get Goals and Assists
Reggae Girl Shania Hayles has just signed a new contract with Bristol City Women. The forward has been playing for Aston Villa over the past three years.
Before joining Villa, she spent a couple of seasons with the England U-19s and Birmingham City. She would later change her allegiance to the Jamaican National team.
Hayles told journalists that she was excited for the opportunity to wear the Bristol City colors. She said that that she was convinced that this was the right club after a conversation with Lauren Smith.
She said that she would use her experience in the Women Super League (WSL) to help Bristol City get goals and assists. She revealed that she wanted to show people what she’s made of. She wants to compete at a high level against top senior players. She also hopes to build back her confidence.
The Reggae Girlz recently qualified for the next Women’s World Cup after destroying Haiti 4-0. This event will be held in Australia and New Zealand.
