The award-winning resort always honors and sponsors athletes in the Caribbean region
Sandals Resorts International has decided to award Caribbean athletes who won medals at the recent Olympic Games. The athletes will be rewarded with complimentary vacations. This reward is applicable to athletes who come from countries that host these resorts.
The reward is meant for Jamaicans Rasheed Broadbell, Rojé Stona, Rajindra Campbell, Kishane Thompson, Wayne Pinnock and Shanieka Ricketts. It’s also for Grenada’s Anderson Peters and Lindon Victor as well as St Lucia’s Julien Alfred. They will receive a one-week vacation across the region. All they have to do is visit any Sandals or Beaches resort.
“We the Caribbean people are always excited when it comes to the Olympic Games. We have many talented athletes and that’s why we’ve decided to celebrate them. They have represented us well with their unforgettable performances. The Sandals family would like to host these athletes in our relaxing hotels and beaches,” said Adam Stewart; the Sandals Executive Chairman.
The award-winning resort has been building a culture of honoring the best athletes over the last few years. They honored athletes who delivered in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with a similar offer. Sandals has also sponsored numerous motorsport athletes, the West Indies Cricket team and many other regional sports institutions.
