The Donation was Handed Over at Caymanas Park
SUPREME VENTURES Limited (SVL) recently donated $3 million to the United Racehorse Trainers Association of Jamaica (URTAJ). This monetary contribution is meant to help membership return to normal operations. Normalcy was interrupted by the pandemic.
The Jamaica Racing Commission will use this money to maintain and renew the membership of individual trainers.
Gary Peart, the SVL executive chairman, has said that they are dedicated to helping community members and horse racing in Jamaica.
The trainers can now use this money to improve their livelihood. This means that they can continue to be a valuable part of Caymanas Park. He emphasized that they are delighted to commit themselves to improving Jamaican horse racing.
SUPPORT APPRECIATED
Patrick Smellie, the URTAJ president, has said that they are grateful for the donation. They are glad that their members are now financially secure and they can now focus on their jobs. He thanked Supreme Ventures for providing this support.
