Usain Bolt joined Ronaldinho Gaúcho and other football legends in the South American Football Confederation’s (CONMEBOL) Legends Match. This game comes just before Thursday’s 2024 Copa América draw. The match happened in Florida, USA.
Football fans were treated to an unforgettable showdown that involved football icons from Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, Columbia, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. The CONMEBOL Legends Match happened in the Inter Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium.
Bolt was part of a team that included teammates like Columbian Carlos Valderrama and Argentine Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero. The Jamaican sprint legend uploaded images with his teammates on his on his Instagram page. Most of these pictures were taken in their dressing room.
However, it was Bolt’s pictures with former Barcelona Ronaldinho that excited most of the fans on social media. the Jamaican was seen having a quick chat with Ronaldinho, who happened to be on the opposing team. Ever-the-showman, Ronaldinho scored his team’s only goal as Bolt’s team secured an easy 2-1 win.
Ronaldinho was seen posing for photograph with Bolt at the end of the game. The beloved former footballer signed the Jamaican’s jersey before he returned to the dressing room.
